Due to many of cleft lip and palate patients have problems with maxilla hypoplasia, majority of these patients need orthodontic treatment to correct malocclusion and orthognathic surgery to improve their facial profile. However, relapse of the maxilla or mandible are often seen after the surgery because of severe scaring on the palate from multiple surgery in cleft patients. We had done a systematic review on relapse of surgery in cleft lip and palate. We can also compare our cleft surgical result with other craniofacial center through out the world.
