WELCOME

It is indeed a great pleasure to welcome you to the Chang Gung Forum 2015, to be held from October 5th-7th. This year, the focus of the forum will be on achieving optimal outcome in orthognathic surgery. Our faculty, consisting of experts from both surgical and dental disciplines, will present on a wide range of topics, including surgery-first orthognathic surgery, computer-aided surgical simulation (CASS), future trends in orthognathic surgery, as well as peri-operative management to improve surgical outcome after orthognathic surgery. This three-day forum also offers participants the opportunity to view our live surgery demonstration and attend the orthodontic workshops.

In conjunction with our effort to promote better understanding and communication during this forum, we have omitted the abstract book but made all the information related to surgical and orthodontic management of dentofacial conditions available electronically. There will also be „live‟ feeds of questions from participants. Please bring along your smart phone/tablet/computer as we would like to encourage your participation throughout the conference. Wi-Fi will be available in the conference hall.

We have included a “Thermos flask” in your package for use during the coffee breaks. As part of the environment protection program, we will not be providing cups during the breaks, so pleasebring along this flaskwith you at all times.
